- Road tested. Verified concern. Vehicle shakes when driving at 60 MPH. It feels like it is coming from the front suspension. Performed a visual inspection of the undercarriage, steering and suspension. Found the front left and right lower control arm forward and rearward bushings are worn out and have play. Recommend to remove and replace the front left and right lower control arms with bushings and ball joints.
- Removed front left and right lower control arm brackets. Removed and replaced front left and right lower control arms with bushings and ball joints. Re installed in reverse order of removal. Recommend a wheel alignment. Road tested after repair was complete and wheel alignment was complete. Verified the shake at 60 MPH is eliminated. Vehicle is operating normally.
- Performed wheel alignment. Checked alignment on all 4 wheels. Adjusted caster, camber, toe-in, and thrust angle as needed on all 4 wheels. Centered steering wheel. Road tested. Vehicle is operating correctly.
